ℳoon☾: “The wordless ℮cstasy, the mute sℴrrℴw, the s℮cret dr℮am…”

Having some questions about Moon aspects (my Moon-Pluto in particular) in my natal chart, I decided to do some reading on Mother Moon.

From astrostar.com:

In Astrology, the Moon represents your emotions, your inner self, your instincts, habits, and reactions. The sign it occupied when you were born is your Moon Sign. Your Moon Sign describes character traits, feelings, and personal responses that are very familiar to you. In fact, it’s common for people to relate to their Moon Sign qualities far more than their Sun Sign.

Your Moon Sign is, in many ways, “you” without the interference and conditioning of outer world experience … and as such, it’s the inner personality you revert to instinctively when your feelings are involved and your buttons get pushed.

The Moon represents:

* your emotional self, your inner self, your moods and intuition
* your instincts, habits, memories, and automatic reactions

A NEW Moon occurs on Saturday, November 22, 2014

On Saturday morning November 22, at 7:32 AM EST, a New Moon occurs early in the fire sign of Sagittarius. A new moon symbolizes new beginnings when you look at old goals and set new ones. It is a good time to contemplate upon your life. The meaning of a new moon is the opportunity to start anew and refresh your dreams and desires. It is a time of magic!

It’s a time when we can focus on some of the constructive traits of the sign of the Archer – optimistic, enthusiastic, adventurous, honest, outspoken, independent – and consider how to positively incorporate these qualities into our lives. Now, we can focus on goals that will increase our understanding and awareness, give us courage to expand our horizons, and gain confidence and optimism through a broader perspective. We can too easily get lost in the details of mundane existence

Seer’s Tea

Traditional remedies are sooo good!

Triple Moon Herbs

The essence of this blend is to calm the conscious mind and awaken the intuitive sense. As well, an aid for sleep, anxiety and divination. The recipe (for a large batch) follows.

Seer’s Tea

1 cup green rooibos
1 cup hops flowers
1 cup damiana
1/2 cup mugwort
1/2 cup chamomile
1/3 cup hibiscus flowers, lightly crushed
1/2 cup calendula flowers (marigold)
2 tablespoons orange peel
2 tablespoons lavender

Mix herbs in a bowl thoroughly.
To brew, pour hot water (just under a boil but not boiling), over 1 tablespoon of the blend per 8 oz cup. Steep at least 5 minutes, longer if you’d like it stronger. Best enjoyed with a bit of honey.
